There was a man who suffered for years with health issues as a result of his lifestyle. He was now given a diagnosis of Acute Renal (kidney) Failure. He was devastated but was given a life-sustaining option that would allow him a normal functioning life (via dialysis). He was made aware that this treatment would require a process of blood cleansing/filtering 3 times a week. Soon afterward, he continued being non-compliant. He kept missing his dialysis treatments which caused him frequent readmissions into the hospital in critical condition. As a last attempt, the doctors decided to meet him halfway by lessening the frequency of his treatments in the hope of a better compliance outcome. Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem. He continued this cycle. He abused grace. As a result of our sinful lifestyles, we were diagnosed for eternal death. The Process of the Scab/Scar I had a scab that I didn’t like the appearance of, and I kept picking with it in hopes of making the scarred area blend in with the skin around it. That scab drove me nuts! It was darker, tougher but more sensitive, and noticeable than the surrounding skin. I kept picking that hardened area off thinking that it could help but was slowing down the process. I well know that a scab is part of the healing process. It is formed when the skin is damaged and is the result of the repair. Some of us have emotional, physical, or spiritual scars/scabs that we wish we could hide, cover-up, or even make it disappear! Some of us spend a lifetime of picking and pulling off the scab that is there to protect wounded areas. What we must understand is that the scar/scab appeared because there was a damaged area that needed to be repaired. On Paper   I remember getting report on a patient that contained specific facts concerning the mental, physical and social components of that individual. On paper, a picture presented the formation of premature opinions, boundaries, and expectancies. Because of what is “On paper”, some of have been excluded, mistreated, misjudged and misrepresented.  I entered his room (presence) talked to him and took time to hear his story and listened to his pain.  At that point, I realized that “On paper”, I really didn’t  thoroughly  know him. There was more to him that was on paper. This made me think of the Bible. It contains 66 books of facts and data about God. It tells of His love, His thoughts and His ways. I’ve read the Word (On paper) and grew up reciting facts about God and who the Bible and men of the Bible (On paper) says who He is. But who He is -is more that what’s “On paper”. Live WithOUT You I had a coworker who always had an excuse as to why she was not available to assist me with the job that she was hired to do. She was busy, on break, had never done that particular task before or expected me to do her job because she felt that ‘I had to go  in the patient’s room any way’...This constant behavior caused me to unintentionally work withOUT her. I noticed that I didn’t ask, call or expect anything from her… As Believers, do we teach or send a message to God to live withOUT us?  We often make excuses for not doing what He asks of us. We’re too busy, tired, scared, don’t feel qualified and often ask Him to do what He has given us the authority to do! Some have quieted, ignored or disobeyed Him for some time that we don’t hear His voice anymore… “And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils; then he ate and drank, arose, and went his way. Undetectable The term 'Undetectable Viral Load' is a state where the HIV/AIDS antiretroviral medicine treatment has brought viral levels so low that blood tests cannot detect it. AND, as long as treatment continues, the virus continues to be Undetectable and becomes Untransmittable. THIS IS WHAT JESUS DID FOR US! He became our 'Undetectable Viral Load'. When we allow His Spirit to dwell and operate in our lives, the viral residue of sin becomes so low that it cannot be detected! He will cleanse you. "...Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Isa 1:18. Why Are You Afraid? November 2015, my grandmother was given days to live due to a terminal illness. I have never forgotten her words. She said, “I am NOT afraid to die because I am saved”. My question to BELIEVERS is, WHY are you afraid? What is it that you really fear? I have been so amazed at the amount of fear that I have seen during this Coronavirus pandemic amongst BELIEVERS . For clarification, I’m not referring to caution, preparation or obedience. Growing up, my Aunt often stated that “If you can’t run with the footman then how can you run with the horseman”? (Jer 12:5). The power, promises, and the position of God that you present to others should be the same God that protects and provides for you. When you truly believe that, you should not fear. Fear not, for I  am  with you; Be not dismayed, for I  am  your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Isaiah 41:10 #lifebySabrina

Corona in the Land It was a 40-year journey that was only supposed to take 2-weeks. This prolonged process was a result of FEAR! God had proven His power, His promise, and creditability through the Plagues, Passover, Passing through the Red Sea, and with His daily Provisions while on the journey. When the spies reported GIANTS (CORONAVIRUS) in the land, FEAR caused them to forget their purpose to possess the land and all that God had brought them through! God has brought us through Plagues, Passover, and Red Sea EXPERIENCES. Just because we see GIANTS (CORONAVIRUS) in the land, don’t allow FEAR to distract you of your purpose to possess the land. Stay focused. Stay Spirit led. Stay in the Word. “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 #lifebySabrina

Wounded Years ago, I had my gallbladder surgically removed. The incision looked great and the wound appeared to be healed. As I was preparing to go home, I began to have signs and symptoms of an infection/sepsis. The outside incision looked great BUT when they opened me back up, green infectious fluid flowed from that wound and my vital signs and lab results were out of range. That wound had to be treated from the inside out before it could be closed. We often get treatment o r self-treat our wounds. Our incisions are covered with surgical bonds of medicine, drugs, alcohol, bad relationships, material things, busyness, anxiety, depression, guilt, shame, and sin. BUT, on the inside, there is infection/sepsis that is in need of treatment before wound closure can be established... “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes, we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5  # lifebySabrina

Spiritual Homelessness Dream: I saw a man sitting on the curb, waiting to be fed. Although he sat there for days resting, he appeared weak. Several people handed him food and money. I noticed that no matter how much food and money that was given to him, he was still in the same situation. He was still sitting and waiting for someone to feed him. Churches are full of people who are suffering from spiritual homelessness. They sit and wait to be fed a word, a song, a prayer or a feeling. Their position has caused them to become spiritual weak... “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.” Romans 12: 6-8.   #lifebySabrina

RESIDUAL: Upon birthing my second child, I delivered a 8.5 pound baby and the placenta but something was wrong. I was hemorrhaging! No one could figure out why. The Doctor discovered that a small piece of RESIDUAL had remained inside, causing the cervix not to completely close. The RESIDUAL had to be removed to save my life.  Residual is the remaining residue after the major, larger part is gone. Some of us have birth out certain sins from our lives but are dying spiritually because of the RESIDUAL that’s still on the inside… we use excuses for the process- “God is still working on me” or “ I’m better than I used to be” or “at least I don’t do this or that”. That small amount of RESIDUAL is all the OPENING Satan needs to be invited in! Allow God to get that RESIDUAL out and close that gap! “and do not give the devil a foothold” Ephesians 4:27 #lifebySabrina

ARE YOU DOING YOUR OWN ASSIGNMENT? DREAM: I worked really hard on an assignment. I check my grades and saw an 'F' and 'I' -incomplete! What is going on?  I knew that I had worked hard & did a great job! When I looked at the Account name, it was NOT my name... I had worked under someone else's Assignment... I had wasted time & energy working someone else's assignment & had unintentionally neglected MY own. I saw specific areas (people, issues, etc) that I had worked on (but NOT MY assignment). I was told to 'SIGN OUT' of that assigned account & 'SIGN IN’ to MY own Account... Then I was told what my assignment (calling) was... Sometimes we are so busy working out other people’s issues that we FAIL or are INCOMPLETE IN the Assignment that God has for us. Ps 32:8 and 1 Cor 12:4-11 #LifebySabrina

 NEW START I was baking a pound cake and during the rising period, my son opened and closed the oven and the cake FELL!  I tried to continue to let it bake hoping that extra TIME would fix it but the PROCESS was interrupted. The cake would not bake to its full potential. Although from the OUTSIDE, it seemed to look ok, the INSIDE would not rise. I could NOT save that cake. I had to start over. Sometimes in life, the PROCESS has been tampered with and preventing your rise (potential, growth, destiny) and no matter what you do to try to fix it, it can’t be saved! You may make it appear ‘ok’ on the OUTSIDE but INSIDE it is messed up. You need a New Start! The Word says, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland". Isa 43:19,20

PLASTIC COVERING A common cultural practice in the early to mid 1900’s was to cover living room furniture with plastic to preserve it. Owners would proudly state how LONG they had this plastic covered furniture... I see through the plastic but I can't touch, feel the fibers, or enjoy what's inside... We often have plastic covering our SPIRITUAL LIVES. We sit on and cover up gifts, talents, praise, worship, experiences, and relationships BUT no real connection. No real joy- only a physical presence, etc... LENGTH of time does not compare to the DEPTH of deposits of DNA of love, joy and peace on the fibers. Take the plastic off. Day#2 Get Up and Keep Moving During a middle school basketball game, a female player was knocked down on floor. She sat there thinking that the game would cease and her needs would be assessed. To her surprise, the players continued to aggressively play in the game and a teammate shouted to her to ‘get up and keep moving’!  If you fall don’t stay there long. Get up and keep moving! It’s not over. Get in position know your purpose. “Rise from the dust, O Jerusalem. Sit in a place of honor.  When It’s Better to Let Go I heard a story about a woman who found her children huddled over and playing with 6 baby SKUNKS! She shouted, “RUN”! Her children were so afraid so they grabbed all 6 skunks and ran… Although this story sounds ridiculously funny, we often pray for deliverance while continuing to hold on to the people, pain, problems, and our past that we seek deliverance from. We often hold on and carry that which is better to Let Go of. There have been times when we have held on to relationships, cars, houses, jobs, positions and past hurts when God has clearly directed to Let It Go! “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”  John 14:26 #LifebySabrina
