I saw a man standing at the bus stop. I assumed that he was waiting for the bus. After a few minutes of him waiting, I saw the public bus approaching the area where the man stood. At that moment, the man walked off and went into the store. By the time he returned, the bus had passed, and he continued to wait at the bus stop. I was confused as to why he would leave when the bus approached and return to wait longer. Out of curiosity, I sat there and observed longer. I then began to recognize that the man had some other issues going on when he began talking to the passing cars. This situation made me think of how people often say that they are “waiting” and “waiting” on circumstances or opportunities to happen in their lives and then give up, walk away, or don’t get on it when it comes.
