Who's got your back?

Who's got your back? A loved one recently said to me that they were glad that I have their back. I thought about it and realized that that's NOT a responsibility that I want to carry. It is also NOT a responsibility that I want to put on someone else. Trust me, my stuff is too heavy for anyone other than God! God wants us to be totally dependent on HIM.. (NOT Moma, Daddy, spouse, friends, family, MONEY, jobs, etc..) They will one day let you down because they are NOT built t o TOTALLY 'have your back'. So, Don't get upset when people 'let you down' by not providing for you or being available. Don't be surprised when they tell your business. They are simply not strong enough to hold it. They are NOT qualified to handle your stuff... Only God is! Ps 121:2-3 (My help comes from the Lord). Isaiah 40:28 (God does not get tired or weary). 2 Thes 3:3 (God is faithful, strong and protects). Ps 20:1 (He will answer in your distress). Ps 140:4 (He provides safety...

Are you canceling or returning your request?

Are you canceling or returning your request?   The Bible says to 'Be anxious for nothing ...and present your requests to God' (Phil 4:6). Sometimes we cancel our request by speaking negative words of doubt or fear before you even receive it! Other times, after we receive the blessing, we return it to the sender by NOT receiving in faith or because you didn't recognize it! Be mindful... There is power in the tongue (Prov 18:21) and the tongue is controlled by your thoughts. Stop canceling or returning your blessings back to the Sender... Believe and Receive!!!   " If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.    But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.    For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord." - James 1:5-7 @LifebySabrina

Authentic

Counterfeits...Replicas...Knock-Offs...Fakes! WHY? To appear to be of value, to appear to be like the original, to deceive, etc. This is often seen with hand bags, clothes, precious stones, and even with God. They follow or imitate the original. I recently watched a video of a woman whose expertise is in exposing details to distinguish authentic designer handbags from high-grade replicas. The authentic bag cost over $2,000 and the replica $100. She demonstrated the difference between the stitching, color of the stitching, the point of contact where the fabric crossed letters and logos (how they lined up). She pointed out the significance of patent numbers and letters that traced back to where and when that bags was made. Finally, she tested the distinct quality of the fabric. This made me think of God. Allow me to demonstrate authenticity. Starting with the letters- there is God is with a capital 'G' and there are other gods. There is God the Creator of all (Gen 1:1, Acts 1...

Let go! Let God!

“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” - Luke 16:13 NIV Just like this hand, sometimes we feel like we are stuck. The problem is NOT that we can't get out. The problem is that we are NOT willing to let go. You are not willing because you think that you "need it", "can't live without it", or "that's all you got".  "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:19 KJV In that jar, you are holding on to bad relationships  but  God wants to supply you with true love. You are holding on stuff that you can't afford  but  God wants to give you a blessing. You are holding on to a house  but  God wants to give you a home. You are holding on unforgiveness, guilt, and shame  but  God wants to give you a renewed heart and mind. You are holding on ...
